In February 2022, the Memorial hosted the “Red in Art - Art Recreations of Major Historic Events” exhibition. This exhibition featured over 20 thematic works of art, such as oil paintings, Chinese paintings, prints, and sculptures.

The exhibition integrated historical themes with artistic beauty, arranging works chronologically to depict significant historic events and figures central to modern China. Each artwork reflects the artists’ efforts to innovate techniques, styles, and expressions, demonstrating their commitment to artistic evolution.

The exhibition included a special section featuring artifacts curated in the Memorial, as well as a selection of representative works by members of the jury who evaluated the works. This juxtaposition allowed the audience to make connections between eras, resulting in greater emotional resonance and understanding.
